We’re approaching the effective date of US GAAP Long Duration Targeted Improvements (LDTI) of January 2023. This is the most sweeping change to US GAAP for insurers in decades. Surveys have shown that significant dollars have been invested by the U.S. insurance industry and that will continue through the implementation starting date. Some important questions to answer are:
What are the changes from the current US GAAP?
How will deferred acquisition cost (DAC) be impacted?
What will be the impact on insurance companies?
How prepared are you to discuss the impact with company senior leadership? What business insights can be gained from LDTI?
What will be the impact on various life products?
What transition issues must you consider?
Learn how to clearly communicate the transitional implications of LDTI from three subject matter experts located in India and the U.S. This interactive webcast includes plenty of time to address important questions.
This is the first of many customized professional development events providing the Indian audience with space for discussions on practical and relevant topics in the coming months.
